What if I am not an artist?

That's OK. You can go to google images and do a search for your favorite subject, or visit this website, search for "black and white images", then type the subject you are looking for, like "dog". You will get search results like this

What if I have a vintage t shirt that I want to reproduce?

We can do that. Just bring the old t shirt by so we can have a look at the graphic. Depending on how strong it is, we may be able to photograph it and reproduce it. It all depnds on the graphic.

What t shirt brands do you print on?

We print on almost all brands. American Apparel, Gildan, Fruit of the Loom, Hanes, Anvil, Teamworks, and 100's of others.

Can I bring my own t shirt to print on? 

Yes, but if we mess it up we are not responsible for it. It also only saves you about $2. If we make a mistake while printing your shirt, we like to be able to grab another one out of our stock and print it again, if we use one that you provide, we can't do that.  

When custom printing a lot of t shirts, we can get a better price on blanks than you can 99% of the time. Bringing your own shirts for us to print will likely cost you more money than if we bought them for you. We buy so many t shirts each month that we get bulk pricing from distributors.

How much does it cost to make 1 t shirt with my design on it? 

 On average it costs $30 + tax for 1 t shirt. The more shirts you get, the cheaper they are. Also, the most important part about t shirt design is the graphic. We need high resolution graphics to work from. In the printing industry, what you see is what you get. If your artwork is pixelated,  the t shirt will be pixelated too. The clearer the original image is, the better the t shirt will look. If you have a photograph that we can scan, that will work for t shirt printing also. If you need help with a low resolution graphic, we can help you clean it up for a small fee.

How long does it take to get 1 t shirt printed?

It usually takes 24 hours. In some cases we will have to work on artwork with a client before printing, so that may take an extra day or 2. For larger custom screen printing orders, the turnaround time is about 10 business days from payment.

These are a few tools of the trade that we use, or as we like to call it "the secret ingredients".

Here's a stack of our screens that have been used already, and are ready to be "reclaimed" (that's screen printer for recycled). Most screens can be used over and over again and we try to get the most life out of them that we can. Sometimes we have to keep them together with duck tape and bubble gum, but they work ;) Hey, we're in a recession!

Right here we have a photo from the camera that we tied onto a bird that flew into the studio. That's our 6 station manual press and awesome vintage Pepsi machine. The choice of a new generation.

Here's a shot of a couple of guys who were trying to sell magazine subscriptions. We told them we'd buy one if they acted like they were working. (Just kidding, this is our crew) Oh, and that's a real campaign sign from Edwin Edwards from back in the day. He used the studio as his campaign headquarters and left the signs. On the back is a Taaka Vodka sign, no kidding.

This is an example of a 1 color print that you can make from clipart. We designed this t shirt back in the day so it's not clipart, but it's a good example of a 1 color design. It's also an example of what happens when you don't look both ways!
